Sean Sheehy is a former Irish footballer and manager who was born on 1952 in Dublin, Ireland. He began his career as a youth player with Home Farm in Dublin, before signing for Shamrock Rovers in 1971. He went on to make over 200 appearances for the club, winning the League of Ireland title in 1975 and 1977. Sheehy then moved to the United States in 1979, where he played for the San Diego Sockers in the North American Soccer League. He returned to Ireland in 1981, signing for Dundalk, where he won the League of Ireland title in 1982. Sheehy retired from playing in 1984 and went on to manage a number of clubs in Ireland, including Shamrock Rovers, Dundalk, and Drogheda United. He also managed the Irish national team from 1996 to 1998. As of 2021, Sean Sheehy's net worth is estimated to be roughly $1 million.
