The untimely and tragic death of Bob Lee, the founder of CashApp, has sent shock throughout the world. Recent court documents have shed light on the events that led to his murder at the hands of IT consultant Nima Momeni. Momeni reportedly had an issue with Lee’s relationship with his sister Khazar Momeni, who is married to plastic surgeon Dr. Dino Elyassnia.
Khazar Momeni has largely maintained a low profile, but she has been identified as the owner of a condominium unit in the Millennium Tower. She was born in Iran and moved to the United States as a child. She has made infrequent appearances in lifestyle magazines and on Elyassnia’s social media.

Dr. Dino Elyassnia, a plastic surgeon, is married to Khazar Momeni, whose brother Nima Momeni was charged with the murder of Bob Lee, the founder of CashApp. The couple got married in 2013, and Khazar owns a luxurious flat in San Francisco, close to where Lee’s body was found. Dr. Dino was born in Iran and raised in Elysium before moving to the United States. He earned a degree in cosmetic surgery from the University of South California Medical School and currently works at the Marten Clinic of Plastic Surgery.
Initially, Dr. Dino considered becoming a heart surgeon, but he got inspired by his two surgeon uncles to pursue a career in medicine.
Dr. Dino Elyassnia caught the public eye when Nima Momeni killed Bob Lee after a fight about her wife Khazar. Police allege that before the murder, Nima and Lee had a conversation about Khazar, during which Nima questioned Lee about any inappropriate relationship with her.
On the night of the murder, Nima drove Lee to a secluded area of San Francisco and fatally stabbed him with a kitchen knife. Police say the murder was planned and deliberate since Nima brought the knife from his home. According to court documents, Khazar texted Lee around the time of the murder to check in on him.
