One man who has over time become a staple of the New England Patriots’ defense department is none other than the evolved and talented Kyle Van Noy. The NFL franchise linebacker was originally drafted in the second round of the 2014 NFL draft by the Detroit Lions, where he spent two years relaxing his trade before going to the Patriots in 2017.
The no. 53 men was part of the Patriots team that won the 2019 Super Bowl LIII championship. That year, his team (six times in eleven attempts) of the coveted NFL trophy became a joint leader of second Super Bowl titles alongside the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He actively participated in four sports namely; basketball, baseball, track and most importantly football where he helped his high school team to a 14-0 record during the 4A State Championship they won in 2008 before he transferred to college.
His high school excelled in sports, saw him lettered, then rated as a 2-star recruit by reputable sports websites Scout.com and Rival.com and also made many colleges to look out for his services, which he eventually signed a football scholarship to Brigham Young University, a private university.His days with the Cougars football team saw him miss his freshman year of football as a result of a misconduct, but ultimately played the next season (2010) and recorded 35 tackles (24 solo tackles), 7.5 tackles with losses, including 2.0 sacks . He improved on that run in his sophomore season with 68 tackles, 7 sacks and 3 interceptions that earned him FBS All-Independent Team mentions, the Phil Steele All-Independent First Team, and the Yahoo Sports All-Independent Team.
He finished his varsity football with 226 tackles, all 52 games winning All-Independent Defensive Player of Year honors for a third time while earning his second All-American Third Team honors among many other honors.professional career
With much credit for the superlative job of his college football career, he declared for the 2014 NFL draft and saw him drafted in the second round as the 40th pick after the combine by the Detroit Lions. He signed a 4-year deal worth $5.10 million and spent three seasons with them. Overall, he played 30 games with 32 solo tackles, 4 assists and 1.0 sack.
The talented soccer star was signed by the New England Patriots in 2016 but he started playing in 2017 and luckily was part of the roster win at Super Bowl LI, earning his first Super Bowl title.
