The victim, Julia, 18, a Malvern cheerleader whose body was found on rural property 7.5 miles from her vehicle, became the buzzing topic after justice was served when Eric Nance was put to death by lethal injection 12 years ago later.

As per reports, her suspect, Eric Nance, was found guilty of capital felony murder after seeing her standing near her broken-down car along U.S. 270, attempted rape as the underlying felony, and stabbed Nancy in the throat with a box cutter. 

Initially, the autopsy failed to reveal the cause or manner of Julia's death. However, medical evidence showed trauma to the head, and defects to her clothing were consistent with a cutting wound.

The murderer, Eric Randall Nance, was an American man convicted of murder in the state of Arkansas and executed in 2005.

The victim, born in 1975, worked part-time at Taco Bell and a blue-jean factory and was a cheerleader in her high school.

As per a source, the victim was driving to visit her boyfriend in Hot Springs on U.S. Highway 270 between Malvern to Hot Springs, Arkansas.

The prosecution said that Nance was raped and murdered, had stopped to help Heath after the victim's car broke down and offered her a ride to Malvern.

According to defense testimony, Eric accidentally killed her, and Julia became hysterical after seeing a utility knife and began to kick at him.

Murderer Eric Nance's Arrest Charges And Prison Sentence: Where Is He Now?

Victim Julia Heath served justice 12 years later when Eric Nance was put to death by lethal injection on November 28, 2005.

The victim, Julia's car, broke down in the middle of the road while visiting her boyfriend. Julia was offered a ride back to Malvern by the murderer, who was driving his pick-up from Hot Springs to Malvern.

On October 18, 1993, Julie Heath's body was discovered in a wooded area, a few miles from her broken-down car, which she left in her 1957 black Mustang to visit with her boyfriend in Hot Springs.

As per Wikipedia, witnesses described the execution as surreal. Eric offered no last words; his spiritual advisor yelled, "May God have mercy on our souls!" which startled some witnesses.
